This was my reading log; my article is all about “The Rizal Bill”. The author of this article is Harvey Smithson. The knowledge that he want to share is by that time. The Catholic Church is opposing Rizal Law because they said it is anti-Catholic, like what they are currently doing in RH Bill. It is to inform the public about the Rizal Law, that it can help Filipinos to develop nationalism and tell us the history repeat itself. For me, it is important to us because it informs the readers about what is really happening in the government and in the Catholic Church.

SMOKING

According to scientist said that cigarette are more addictive than alcohol and it is the most difficult addiction to stop. Smoking is harmful to our body then can breakdown all part of our organs in body. Why they continue it again that they know smoking is bad? They smoke, it because they believe that smoking can helps smoker relax or gives smoker confidence; when they smoke behind many peoples they feel that they are smart to do such thing.  Smoking can get much kind of diseases like cancer, hearing loss, discolored fingers, and tooth decay. So starting from now, if you have friends that were smoking tells them to stop it and it also help our environment to prevent the global warming, the problem now in our mother earth.

COMPUTER PIRACY

           Computer Piracy is when software gets copied without permission from the copyright holder. This may lead to disadvantages such as the file downloaded is not an original, the file may contain some viruses, the owner of the file won’t receive profit from his/her works and computer piracy is an illegal matter. Although there are many disadvantage in performing computer piracy their also advantage of it such as he/she can download any files that they want for free, and they can also sell it to earn money for their own goods. The effect of doing piracy is being a crime, this will let them suffer punish if they were caught. There are many way of piracy, duplicating the work, rewriting a piece and performing other’s work as own work. After researching about this article, I realized that even though pirated materials are convenient for people and now easily obtained, it doesn't change the fact that it is illegal. People don't realize that they are wasting the efforts of the creators by patronizing these pirated materials, thus stealing from them in a way.

           For the first time in history of Philippines football the Philippines enter semifinal in Asian Football Confederation (AFC) challenge cup beating Tajikistan 2-1 Phil young husband and Angel Guirado score each one… Congratulation AZKALS keep up the good work! Now, our national football team is improving day by day, and surely will continuously give pride and honor to our country. Let support our national football team when they have a game.

THE SECRET

How to succeed your life? You must know what you really want for your future. So from now on, start by chasing that goal, we should work hard to reach that goal even though there are many challenges ahead. We must never lose hope. Just try our best and be patient in what we do

Last week, we watched a movie title "THE SECRET". It all about the Law of Attraction. I had already applied it, because this week we had taken our Department Examination in our COMPRO1. The exam was quit hard, but I’m not thinking that I will fail. I forcefully think that I can pass the exam and get a passing grade and it’s enough for me. I think every one of us wants to be successful in life. So for me, law of attraction is not the actual deed our life but if we have a positive thinking, we will have more confident to do it and want to know what will be happen  after we accomplished it. The movies taught us we should be confident in our self, like have faith in ourselves. Because, we cannot expect others to believe in us before we believe in ourselves first.

REALIZATION

REALIZATION

              I have achieved my goals for grammar and reading but I’m always misused them and don’t know how to applied them correctly in constructing a sentence or a paragraph. However, I feel that I have improved just a little compare when I’m in secondary school.

           The accomplishments that I most proud of was our final project because we have to collect pictures about wrong grammar and creating a blog for our portfolio. It was my first time to creating a blog. I think that was not too hard to know it. If you really want to learn, nothing will be difficult to you.

        The areas that I need to improve were to construct a sentence correctly. Then how to use the punctuations properly in writing my own essay so I need to practice my English every day and try to speak English fluently.

         While completing this portfolio, I had learned some new vocabulary that I didn't use last time. The mechanics help me to guide my English and teach you how to use the word correctly.

             

The difficulties that I have encountered were the vocabularies. Because some vocabularies that I don’t know what they means so I always got stuck thinking what the word means and searching the word in the dictionary.

           All in all, I could say that keeping language portfolio could be reminding you what you have encountered the difficulties you had. If you had met the same problem again in the future, you could go back to the portfolio that you did then overview on it again.
